The Eating Disorder treatment program at Oceanaire is designed to treat women 18 and over who struggle with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, and co-occurring issues such as self-injurious behaviors, trauma, mood disorders, and addictive disorders. Located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California with new sites opening in Bellevue, Washington and Fremont, California in early 2012, Oceanaire treatment centers provide a tranquil setting for healing where women can safely and effectively address their issues and begin their path to recovery. We believe that recovery from an eating disorder is possible and our staff is deeply committed to the healing and well-being of our clients.
At Oceanaire we understand that seeking residential treatment is a difficult decision. If you are in crisis, or if you would like to speak to someone about treatment at Oceanaire, please call our admissions office today. Admission inquiries are confidential and the intake staff is here to help with any questions you may have or to set up a visit for you to see the program first hand.
Eating disorders are highly complex and require a variety of resources and settings for treatment. Oceanaire is a preferred provider to many medical professionals when their clients are not able to manage their eating disorder on an outpatient basis. These individuals are often in need of a higher level of care such as that found at residential programs like Oceanaire. There are also times when hospital-based programs refer to us as a step-down for longer term residential treatment. We understand this process and have strict clinical criteria before admitting to Oceanaire. We also understand that not all women struggling with eating disorders are in need of residential treatment. In these instances, our Intake Department has an extensive list of resources at all levels of care suitable for most circumstances.
